April 2026
April bouncing into action already. After a busy month of refreshes in the Apple world last month, there may still be more to come.
So it will be interesting to see what things may get released (if any) this month.
More models due to get the M5 chip - so we’ll have to keep an eye on that and see what happens.
And Easter just around the corner.
We’ve also seen a few cooler/wet days of late too. So hopefully a bit more sun before it definitely starts to get a bit more cooler.
I hope everyone has a good April!
Happy 50th Birthday Apple
The 1st of April marks 50 years for Apple, and around the globe they held events - even here in Australia they used the Sydney Opera House to display art all over it to mark it’s 50 years.
For some reflection over the years there is a bit of a run down here and a bit more of on it here and here.
Though I didn’t own the very early machines, I do recall seeing the first Apple Macintosh 128K way back in January 1984.
(And I remember playing on the Apple Iic and Apple IIGS before that)
eBooks Online - your source for Digital eBook’s ‘Down Under’
After quietly working on a new venture since mid-last year, I’m excited to announce that it’s now live!
The first eBook—"Avoiding Scams Down Under"—is available now, with more titles to come.
With scams on the rise in recent years, this eBook is a valuable resource to help you stay informed and protected. It covers key warning signs, practical steps to safeguard yourself and your finances, and crucial advice on recovering if you’ve been scammed.
Sadly, I’ve seen too many people fall victim to scams, which is why I hope this eBook will make a real difference by equipping more people with the knowledge they need.
